About Us

Camp Marysville, formerly known as the temporary village was a place residents called home after their houses were displaced following the devastating Black Saturday Bushfires. From 2009-2012 It provided a safe haven for over 176 people while the town of Marysville was being rebuilt. In 2012, the unique, self-contained cabins were then repurposed to create an outdoor education and wellbeing facility.

Today Camp Marysville is a privately owned School Camp, further hosting community and family groups from all walks of life. It came under new management in November 2025 and is in the process of undergoing some changes. New owners Sean and Emily have been working in the camp industry for some time now and are excited to give Camp Marysville some much needed love, creating new and engaging activities for school programs and better facilities for all their customers. They recognise the site is apart of cultural history and want to retain that family style feel that was created when accommodating the village.
